Sapphire Bioscience is an importer & distributor of research biochemicals for the Life Sciences. Our customers are leading research scientists in Australian, New Zealand & South East Asian universities, hospitals, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies and other industries.
Sapphire Bioscience aims to assist scientists by supplying biochemical tools in a broad range of research disciplines. In addition to compounds, kits and antibodies, Sapphire distributes the comprehensive YMC range of HPLC columns and packings.
Locating "hard to find" new and innovative compounds is also a special service that we offer scientists. We are keen to make research easier for our customers by searching worldwide to locate inhibitors, antagonists, signal transduction and apoptosis reagents. Brief History
Sapphire Bioscience was established in February 1992 in Sydney. Beginning with a single supplier, we steadily built relationships with key source manufacturers. Sapphire has grown to distribute the product ranges of more than 50 biochemical and biotechnology companies from around the world. We now provide everything from prion proteins to fluorescent probes, EIA kits to antibodies.
Sapphire Bioscience has been a Distributor for BioLog, Cayman, Kamiya, List Biological Laboratories, Northstar Bioproducts and YMC for more than 15 years now. We are very proud of these long business relationships. We are keen to work harder for these business partners as we continue to promote their product ranges conscientiously in our region and introduce our customers to new additions to their exciting product ranges.
Sapphire Bioscience has also forged new business relationships with a number of well known Life Science Companies. Amongst these is Abcam, Abnova, Agrisera, Axxora, Echelon, Enzo Life Sciences, Immundiagnostik, LifeSpan Biosciences, MitoSciences, Molecular Innovations, Novus Biologicals, ORF Genetics and Percipio Biosciences. The job of supplying our customers with the latest in innovation became much easier with the explosion of the internet and instant access to search engines and technical information.
