The monoclonal antibody generation platform leverages on in vitro wheat germ protein expression for high-speed antigen preparation with advanced technologies for augmenting mouse antibody response, improving hybridoma viability, and customised automations for fusion, subcloning, liquid handling, antibody screening and characterisation.

Abnova’s wheat germ based cell-free protein synthesis is pioneered by Dr. Yaeta Endo of Ehime University. This robust and efficient in vitro system translates mRNAs to target proteins, using a translation system of wheat germ extract and other essential components. This technology is most suitable to synthesise functional proteins, maintaining viable structure and physiological functions. This system allows many proteins to be synthesised while providing good yield and stability.
